Art 101

When we come to styling your space for your big reveal we bring lots of décor with us so we can move things around until everything looks and feels right. All of this décor is what we call “on approval” so once you see it in your space you can decide if you want to keep it, and if you don’t we return it! We sometimes follow this procedure when it comes to art as well because art is personal and we want you to have a connection to the pieces in your home. Here are some of the ways we help you find the right pieces!

If you don’t want to spend a lot on art and you don’t have very much of your own we will bring pieces and lean them up where we can so you can get a feel for them at the big reveal. Once you’re ready to commit, we get them hung for you and return what you don’t like.

If you have a space that you’re wanting a new piece in and you have an idea of what you like we will send you a handful of options ahead of time. These options are usually ordered pieces so we make sure you’re comfortable selecting based on an image. Once you find what you like and we get your approval, we will order it and install on the day of your reveal! In this case it is not on approval as it is approved before purchase.

The last scenario is when you have tons of amazing art! We love incorporating what you love and have a connection to. Before we start designing we pull colors from all of your art so that we can plan to incorporate them in the final product. We will ask for your art to be on site the day of the reveal and if need be we can arrange delivery. We will rehome all of your amazing pieces and incorporate them intentionally into your new space. This often breathes new life into your art and inspires a new appreciation for it.

Everyone’s situation is different and we always adapt to provide the level of service you need. We love finishing spaces off with new and old and look forward to seeing your reaction to both!
