Meet the Team Series ... introducing Kim, our Studio Manager!
Meet Kim Diamond, our Studio Manager.
In addition to a short backstory on each of us, we each had to list some of our favourite things that we wanted to share as well our favourite thing about our SCID design process.
We hope you enjoy getting to know our team over the next few weeks and that you look forward to seeing more of each squad member on our Instagram feed!
I actually met Kim 17 years ago when she lived two doors down in our old neighbourhood and we discovered that our girls were going to preschool together! We became fast friends and our girls had playdates daily. We’d rely on each other for childcare, a cup of sugar or a glass of wine on the deck during the summer months.
Fast forward to 2017 when I needed admin help and I strong armed Kim into doing it! It was a casual arrangement at first but once Kim learned the ropes and the in’s and out’s of running the studio she became a permanent fixture in my business and someone I came to rely on heavily!
I like to say she runs the show now and all her hard work allows me to focus on design and business development! She’s always game to help with the heavy lifting, tends to be quietly focused on her to-do list and is the go to person that knows the status of a project at any time! What would we do without Kim?!

“I love Native Tongues! I love the fun casual atmosphere and that it has many yummy gluten free options. The smashed potatoes and burritos are my absolute favourites!”
This album is so good! It reminds me of Sam Cooke, but a it’s little more soulful.
