SCID Christmas 2023
It is always somewhat shocking when we get to the end of the year and are staring another one in the face! It definitely makes us pause and reflect on the year behind and take stock of past projects and clients.
Our goal is always to improve our Client Experience here at Stephanie Charest Interior Design as our intention is that your time with us should be without stress, tension or complications.
If you were or are one of our clients in 2023, we truly appreciate you and hope you’ve enjoyed working with the SCID team!
And we hope Stella wasn’t a jerk when you were here! Since becoming a regular here at the office, she is determined to protect her turf and her people so she likely barked her face off when you dared to ring the bell (so rude!) so on her behalf, we apologize for her behavior!
Christmas Cocktails
Why do cocktails seem more fun when they are Christmas themed? As a pretty loyal wine drinker, cocktails aren’t really my jam but these ones here have piqued my interest!
If you try these, I would love to know your thoughts!
Christmas Markets
I happen to go to quite a few of the Christmas markets around Calgary and Banff this year and highly recommend checking them out next year (or seeing if there are markets to attend this close to Christmas!). The Banff Christmas Market is a favourite as is the Spruce Meadows Christmas Market - such a great way to support local businesses and find unique gifts for those on your list!

Movie Night Faves
One of my favourite traditions is a movie night with my kids every year. We pile on the couch, load up the coffee table with snacks and watch the same movies every year!
My son has expressed interest in trying out a new movie this year - which you may know is the topic of a very controversial discussion! Die Hard… is it even a Christmas movie?!
We’ll need to start early to get all these movies in but it’s a night I look forward to and am not willing to give up - no matter how old they get!
Holiday Hours
Our offices will be closed from December 20th to January 2nd, 2024 as we’ve had a busy end of year and cannot wait to lounge around in our pajamas, eating treats and watching all the Christmas movies! There’s been talk about going cross country skiing with friends so I’ll fill you in on if that actually happened over the break!
Whatever your plans for the last few weeks of December, we hope you enjoy a beautiful Christmas season and will appreciate some restful downtime with your loved ones. See you in 2024!
